The competition will be an official WCA-competition, open for everybody. The WCA rules will be implemented and Gunnar Krig will be the competition's WCA-delegate responsible for ensuring that the rules are followed. The competition results will be added to WCA´s official world ranking.

Registration

Registration is made through the competition´s WCA page. Please note that the maximum number of participants is set to 50. The participation fee has been set to 100 SEK and is paid at the venue. Any profit from the event goes to the future purchase of equipment such as stack mats, displays, batteries, etc.

Registration is open until February 14th. This means that after this, you can´t pre-register. This is to be able to plan and prepare for the competition when it comes to divide the contestants into groups and fix the final time program. Please check your registration before the registration period ends, to see if you want to add or remove any events.

If you do not register before or on the 14th, there is the possibility to register on-site during the competition. This will then cost 150 SEK for the first event and + 30 SEK extra for every additional event. Please note that it is important to show up early to the competition if you thought to register on-site. Preregistered participants can add events at the venue, with an extra cost of 30 SEK per event.

Cuboss is the official sponsor of Nyköping Cube Day 2016. Cuboss is a Swedish online store selling Rubik's cubes and similar puzzles. They will award prizes in the form of gift cards to buy cubes with on cuboss.se. The winner in each event except 3x3 will get gift cards for 100 SEK. In 3x3, the winner will receive 300 SEK, the runner-up receives 200 SEK and third place get 100 SEK to spend. Cuboss will also sell the cubes during the competition at their tables.
